Flavours of Provence
Fine cuisine enjoyed at a leisurely pace in lovely restaurants
Provence 9 - 16 June 2008
Join us for a sumptuous week exploring the gastronomic delights and hidden beauty of the heartland of Provence from Vaucluse to the Luberon and the Bouches du Rhone.

Experience enchanting villages, glorious fields of lavender and sunflowers, lush vineyards, delicious wine tastings, colourful Provencale markets, a fascinating gourmet cooking class, chateaux visits, antique shops, beautiful countryside and gardens.
Finest Foie Gras served with toasts, caramelized onions, rock salt, black pepper and star anise, accompanied by a chilled glass of Sauterne

Enjoy dining in some of Provence's finest restaurants where you will savour a tantalizing contrast of flavours and aromatic delights from finest gourmet cuisine to delicious traditional fare. All in gorgeous settings and at a leisurely pace.

We stay at two lovely, hotels both with private facilities and delightful gardens. The first a stately chateau near a beautiful market town full of colour and Provencale charm. The second is a charming hotel decorated in true Provencale style, in a stunning village with river front views, tree lined squares and ancient bridges.
This exciting tour is designed to allow you to experience the passion for fine food and dining that is such an important part of the Provencale way of life, balanced with a delightful leisurely exploration of the beauty of Provence.

"We had such a great time in France with you.  I've spoken of  our your tour so many times to my friends since we got back because you showed us so much of the heart of Provence. Obviously your intention. It's in my collection of 'great lifetime experiences'.  Hat's off to you and Jim."
  - Maggie Williamson, Boise USA

"This week far exceeded my expectations. The wonderful sights, fine food and balanced pace, coupled with the company and friendship was an experience that is difficult to match. You can be proud that you have set a new bench-mark in how tours ought to be conducted"
  - Eng-Keat Chong, Penang Malaysia
